The MidiFace Thru is USB powered and supports MIDI In, MIDI Out and MIDI Thru. It is Class Compliant, which means you won't need to install drivers on your Mac, Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 computer. Just plug it in using the included USB cable and you are ready to go! It even includes two MIDI cable so you can connect your keyboard or other MIDI device to the MidiFace. The MidiFace II will work as a USB MIDI Interface with the iPad using Apple's Camera Connection Kit, so you can connect any MIDI keyboard to your iPad!
Quickly and easily connect your MIDI devices using the included MIDI cables to the MidiFace II, and then connect the MidiFace II to your computer via USB. Any music software that will accept MIDI input will work with the MidiFace II, including Sibelius, Finale, Band in a Box, Cubase, Sonar, Pro Tools and more! Unlike many other MIDI interfaces, the USB and MIDI cables can easily be connected or disconnected from the MidiFace II. (Other MIDI interfaces have the cables molded together, so if they get pulled, they can only break, not disconnect.) This feature is important for schools or live situations where it is possible your keyboard or computer might get moved.
